President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is this morning expected to officially launch Malawi School of Government at Kanengo in Lilongwe.
The official launch of the school by President Chakwera, marks a significant stride in the country’s commitment to nurturing public service excellence.
When the President arrives he will be received by government officials and the institution’s staff. Dr Chakwera is expected to be briefed on the school’s mission and the diverse programmes it is offering.
The Malawi leader will then tour pavilions showcasing the institution’s educational offerings.
According to the programme, Dr Chakwera will briefly attend one class in session offering him a firsthand experience of the school’s teaching environment. He will later sign in the visitor’s book, a tradition that honors distinguished guests.
Subsequent activities among others include a group photograph, capturing the historic moment for posterity before the President leads the procession to the Marquee, where the official launch will be done.
