National Publicity Secretary for the National Development Party (NDP), Gerald Chirongo, has resigned from his position.
Chirongo said he is exercising his constitutional right of Freedom of Association.
“I can confirm that I have resigned both as NDP National Publicity Secretary and member, with effect from 1st April 2025. I have to further consult my family on my future political path,” Chirongo concluded.
Previously, Chirongo served as the party’s General Secretary.
