Minister of Transport Jacob Hara has urged key players in the construction industry to be innovative and think outside the box to ensure a high-quality sector.
He made the remarks in Mangochi when he opened the 7th International Construction Conference, organised by the National Construction Industry Council.
In his speech, the minister emphasised that the construction industry is central to many aspects of the country’s development, including the ATM Strategy.
He stressed the need for creativity and innovation to support meaningful national progress.
The three-day conference, held under the theme “Innovate, Adapt, and Excel: A Quality-Driven Construction Industry,” has attracted both local and international participants.
