King Misuzulu Ka Zwelithini to grace the 2024 Umthetho Festival

Leader of the Zulu Nation in South Africa, King MisuZulu Ka Zwelithini, will attend this year’s Umthetho Cultural Festival on August 03,2024 at Hora Heritage Centre in Mzimba District.

According to Inkosi Ya Makhosi Mmbelwa V, King MisuZulu will be accompanied by Amakhosi, Izinduna, members of the Royal Family and senior Government officials from the Republic of South Africa.

“The visit by the King will not only be historical to us but will also strengthen our longstanding ties, as peoples of the two Kingdoms,” Mmbelwa says in a Facebook post.

Inkosi Ya Makhosi Mmbelwa V will also be celebrating ten years on the throne and apart from South Africa, he has also invited dignitaries from Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and other countries.

King MisiZulu kaZwelithini is the ninth reigning monarch of the Zulu Nation. He was enthroned following the death of his father in March 2021.
