Malawi National Spelling Bee clocks 10

Organisers of the Malawi National Spelling Bee contest have called for coordinated efforts by stakeholders in the education sector as they seek to uplift the quality of education.

Malawi National Spelling Bee Chief Executive Officer, Louis Mbawula, was speaking to MBC in an interview on the sidelines of a Bee Spelling competition in Lilongwe.

Mbawula disclosed that currently, they have partnered Good Neighbours Malawi to incorporate in the contest learners from schools based in the rural areas so that they can equally be motivated and inspired.

“We are impressed with strides made so far by the spelling bee competition and the response it has received,” Mbawula said.

Good Neighbours Malawi Country Director Gyo Jin Joo has since pledged continued support towards the programme.
