Avram Grant, the Coach for the Zambia National Football team, the Chipolopolo Boys, has named a 24 man squad for the Four Nations tournament which will be held in Lilongwe during the FIFA International window from 18 to 26 March.
Grant has named a blend of players, including those who played at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which was held in Cote d’voire in January.
Malawi will face Zambia, together with Zimbabwe and Kenya in a tournament being used as part of preparations for the June round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Last week, Flames coach Patrick Mabedi named a 27-member provisional squad of local based players ahead of a four nations tournament.
According to a statement by the Football Association of Malawi (FAM), the Malawi team is expected to shift to Lilongwe on 15 March.
