Saint Louis High School has increased its football sponsorship in Dedza District from K3 million to K4 million.
The school’s board chairperson, Amos Kachilele – Mwale, revealed this at the launch of the district’s 2024/2025 football season over the weekend.
“We expect the league to go on smoothly without any violence,” Kachilele – Mwale said.
Austin Ajawa, the chairperson of the Central Region Football Association, appreciated the extension of the sponsorship.
Dedza District Council principal Administrator, Moses Jere, expressed optimism that the football league would continue to play a vital role in the socioeconomic development of the area.
20 teams are expected to take part in the Saint Louis High School Dedza football League.
St. Louis started sponsoring the league in 2021.
