Rumphi District Council constructs new IFMIS office

Rumphi District Council Chairperson, Harry Munyenyembe says a new integrated financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) office under construction at the council will provide a conducive working environment for officers and uplift the face of the district.

Munyenyembe further said the new office complex will create an environment that will attract professionals to work at the council.

The project is funded through the District Development Fund (DDF) and was estimated to cost K126 million during a groundbreaking ceremony in November 2023.

The office is expected to provide working space for various officers at the council.
