Malawian South African-based Boxer, Isaac ‘Golden Boy’ Chilemba, believes he is ready to return to the ring this coming Friday where he will face Russian Boxer, Alexei Papin, in Moscow.
Lonzoe Zimba, President of the Malawi Professional Boxing Control Board, affirmed that Chilemba still has what it takes to compete at the highest level.
This fight is coming three months after Chilemba announced his retirement due to health issues, and he told MBC Digital that he does not regret his decision.
The Golden Boy has been training, focusing on fitness, in readiness for the fight.
In his career, he has managed 27 wins, nine losses, and three stalemates.
