MEC Commissioner, Richard Chapweteka, said this when he inspected progress of the polling at Saint Augustine 2 Primary School where people are casting their ballot to elect councillor for Mwasa Ward.

The elections come following the death of the ward’s councillor, Edna Yusuf Jose, in 2022.

A total of 3,797 people registered to vote in the by-election where five people from various political parties are contesting.
