The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation today joined various stakeholders in alleviating the impact of Cyclone Freddy by donating K2 million worth of food and non-food items to 46 families in T/A Mthiramanja, Mulanje.
The families belong to Chisamba and Chikuli camps which have 168 survivors including men, women and children.
According to Public Relations and Customer Affairs Manager for MBC, Chisomo Mwamadi, the donated items include flour, sugar, salt, soap, soya pieces, cooking oil, dry fish, clothes, blankets and plastic ware. – MBC Online Services.
