Retired Police Officers Balaka Chapter has pledged to support Balaka Police Station on crime prevention and other security related issues.
The group led, by its patron Duncan Gongolo, said this on Thursday when welcoming the Officer In-charge for Balaka Police Station Phillip Dinala at his office.
Retired ACP Duncan Gongolo was accompanied by its chairperson Balaka Chapter Senior Superintendent Bright Sanudi and other three members.
Sanudi said they will dedicate themselves to support Balaka Police Station as they are the ambassadors in Malawi Police Service.
However, the chairperson appealed for the good cooperation inorder to fight against crime.
Dinala concurred with the group that to fight against crime always need collaborative efforts and that he is happy to work with them, assuring them of total support in terms of welfare of both members.
