An international advertising firm, Dentsu Africa, has established a permanent presence in Malawi by partnering with Blitz Interactive Agency Limited, a Blantyre-based firm.
According to a statement from the organisation, the agreement lets brands operating locally tap into world-class integrated media, creative, data, and marketing solutions.
This partnership has been done through Dentsu Zambia.
Managing Director of the office, Chishimba Musonda, said they were searching for the right culture and mindset rather than a rushed market entry.
“We have been supporting clients with interests in Malawi since 2020, and we always knew we wanted to strengthen our presence in the market,” said Musonda.
George Damson, Managing Director of Blitz, said the partnership is built on resilience, passion, and a mutual vision for sustainable profitability rather than overnight wins.
“When we started operations in a one-room office in Blantyre in 2014, all I had was a belief that this would work, from those early days to becoming a trusted partner to leading brands,” he said.
He added that their journey has been built on resilience, passion, and an ambition to create something meaningful.
According to the statement, the foundation of the alliance has been growing since 2020, when Dentsu Zambia first began supporting cross-border clients with interests in Malawi.
The alliance pairs dentsu’s global transformation frameworks with Blitz’s deep understanding of the Malawian consumer, giving local and international brands culturally relevant strategies.
