The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) is hosting a public lecture titled ‘Unlocking the Power within Youth for Future Leadership’ at the Great Hall of the University of Malawi’s Chancellor College in Zomba.
The event seeks to encourage democratic participation among the public, with a focus on engaging young people.
High Court Judge and MEC Chairperson, Justice Chifundo Kachale, is the main speaker at the lecture, which is part of MEC’s preparations for the 2025 elections. The first lecture was held at Mzuzu University in February this year.
