NICE tells parties to co-exist ahead of 2025 elections

National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) in Dedza District has urged political parties to co-exist ahead of next year’s general elections to ensure a peaceful, violence-free polling process.

Dedza NICE Programme Officer, Vincent Kalawa, said this at Dedza Boma on Monday during the review of phase one of the voter registration exercise in the district.

Malawi Congress Party District Secretary, Philimon Ngodzo, commended the organisation for involving them in efforts to ensure free and fair general elections.

United Democratic Front’s District Governor, Amadu Yusuf, said political violence will not be tolerated.

The district’s political party governors from the People Development Party and the United Transformative Movement all echoed similar sentiments.
