Masasa traditional leaders ask for support to grade roads

Traditional leaders in Masasa and Hilltop in Mzuzu City are calling for support in upgrading earth roads that are in bad shape to improve accessibility to social services.

Group Village Head Woman Thula made the call when Web Champions graded the Hilltop earth road in the city.

“The roads leading to locations are poor and almost impassable during the rainy season. Potholes are the order of the day and during dry season, dust envelops the households. I therefore urge other stakeholders to join hands to improve the condition of roads in the area,” said GVH Thula.

One of the residents in the city, Webster Ndhlozi, who is founder of Web Champions, said there is need for business communities to join in and address challenges the area is facing.

Masasa and Hilltop areas in Mzuzu are under Sub Traditional Authority Thula.
