President Lazarus Chakwera has engaged in bilateral talks with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, focusing on advancing Malawi’s economic growth through the ATM strategy.
Minister of Transport Jacob Hara, speaking to MBC, announced that the United Arab Emirates has committed $20 million to support the completion of the Mangochi-Makanjira Road project.
He also highlighted that Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have been instrumental in sourcing additional funds for the project.
The total cost for completing the Mangochi-Makanjira Road project is estimated at $100 million.
