Humission steps up environmental conservation efforts

Humission, a German-based charity, has ramped up its initiatives to protect the environment and promote sustainable agricultural practices in Malawi.

Country Director Pascally Tambala made the announcement at the launch of a project in Benga, Nkhotakota, which aims to empower communities to produce bio-charcoal and bio-fertiliser.

Tambala highlighted that Humission is also distributing White Acacia tree seedlings to farmers to enhance soil fertility and boost yields.

The charity has been implementing programmes in Malawi since 2016.
