Wanderers, Bullets in second-spot showdown

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are poised for a fierce battle for second place in the 2024 TNM Super League as the season nears its conclusion, with two matches remaining.

Wanderers will face Creck Sporting Club at Dimba Stadium, while Bullets take on Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium.

Wanderers currently sit on 54 points and need just a single point to secure the second spot. Bullets, on the other hand, have 49 points and must win both their remaining matches to have a chance, though Wanderers remain the favourites.

In other matches, Chitipa United will host Moyale Barracks at Karonga Stadium, while FOMO faces newly crowned champions Silver Strikers at Mulanje Park.

Both fixtures are critical in the relegation battle: FOMO, with 25 points, and Chitipa United, with 23 points, are desperate to avoid the drop. Bangwe United, on 27 points, must also deliver strong performances to ensure safety.
