SULOM charges Bullets with two counts of misconduct

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have been charged with two counts of misconduct following their game against Silver Strikers over the weekend and have been given a 48-hour ultimatum to respond.

The charges include failing to control the actions of supporters and officials and bringing the league into disrepute.

A letter addressed to Bullets and signed by Super League of Malawi (SULOM) General Secretary, Williams Banda, states that the team failed to manage their supporters, who pelted stones and bottles onto the field of play in the 90th minute, forcing the match to end prematurely.

Additionally, the supporters damaged and deflated tyres of buses for both the visiting and home teams, causing delayed departures.

Bullets’ Chief Administrative Officer, Albert Chigoga, has meanwhile confirmed receipt of the letter and says they will respond within the stipulated time.
