The Joyce Banda Foundation has pledged to continue feeding underprivileged children in the country.
Founder and Patron of the Foundation, Dr. Joyce Banda, was speaking in Zomba when she fed over a thousand children with porridge and distributed relief maize and flour to their parents, the elderly and HIV + persons.
She reiterated that feeding the underprivileged was one of her long-time passions.
“I have been doing this work since 1991 even before I started politics,” Banda said.
Banda has also distributed maize to more than 50 hunger-stricken households in Zomba.
