Centenary Bank partners with Tourism Ministry

Centenary Bank has partnered the Ministry of Tourism to assist the government in achieving its Agriculture, Tourism, and Mining (ATM) strategy, which is essential for driving and achieving sustainable economic growth.

Bernard Mkandawire, Chief Commercial Officer for Centenary Bank, said that the partnership will see the bank supporting tourism businesses, workers and local communities.

“The agreement is in line with our objectives of providing inclusive financial services to improve people’s lives,” said Mkandawire.

Chauncy Simwaka, Principal Secretary for Tourism, emphasised the need for greater collaboration in implementing the ATM strategy to transform Malawi into a prosperous, self-reliant and inclusive country by 2063.
