Multitudes have gathered at Nthungwa Ground in the area of Traditional Authority Thula in Nkhatabay commemorating the life of former Vice President late Dr Saulos Chilima and eight others who were killed in a plane crash at Chikangawa forest in Mzimba.
Various activities have been lined up including prayers, a candlelight ceremony, traditional dances and speeches from different people who have gathered at the site.
Some of the notable people present include Alliance for Democracy’s Vice President, Timothy Mtambo, former cabinet Minister Professor Peter Mwanza, who is the guest of honour and several other UTM supporters.
