Member of Parliament for Salima North West, Enock Phale, has pledged to continue initiating programmes that would improve education standards in his constituency since the Malawi 2063 agenda requires an educated human resource.
Phale disclosed this when he awarded 45 primary school learners who performed well during the Salima District Mock Examinations.
The donation came with support from his South African partners, Dr Eula Mothibi and Precious Robinson.
Dr Mothibi stressed that girl-child education is paramount in building strong and resilient communities.
The partners pledged to help the best performing students who will be selected to national secondary schools with funds totalling K2 million.
Learners from Chitala, Kaphatenga and Matenje education zones participated in the mock examinations.
