Blantyre City residents have been urged to plant trees in Soche Hill to guard against possible reoccurrence of natural disasters.
Sponsor of Manja Seventh Day Adventist Youth, Vymala Moyo, made the call when he led the youth group in a tree planting exercise at the hill.
The initiative was part of the commemoration of Seventh Day Global Youth Day, which falls on 17 March every year and the theme is ‘Show up in the city’.
