The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has organised a two-day coaching refresher course for football coaches at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.
Benjamin Kumwenda, FAM’s Technical Director, confirmed that the training is being conducted by Sinesipho Mali, a former Performance Analyst for the South Africa National Football Team, with a focus on modern football tactics.
“We aim to introduce new coaching trends to our coaches this year,” Kumwenda stated.
He further said that the course includes participation from Super League Coaches as well as the Men’s and Women’s national teams, along with selected former National Team players.
“Coaches will receive training on video analysis of players’ performances and opponents,” he added.
Through such courses, FAM hopes to update the football knowledge of selected coaches before the start of each football season.
