Namibia sets the stage for Miss Teen and Miss Namibia 2025 Grand Finale

By Kate Kujaliwa, Namibia

The search for Namibia’s next beauty queens is heating up — and for the first time since that country’s independence, the Grand Finale of Miss Teen Namibia and Miss Namibia 2025 will take center stage in Northern Namibia.

The glittering pageants are set for 18 and 19 July 2025 at the Ongwediva Trade Fair Centre, promising a spectacle of beauty, brains and cultural pride.

Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) has been specially invited by the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and the Miss Namibia Organisation to witness the event and explore synergies in pageant production and broadcasting.

With Malawi eyeing a revival of its own pageant scene, this is a golden opportunity for the country to exchange ideas and best practices.

Namibian Broadcasting Corporation PR Manager Beaulah Boois-Beukes said this bold move to the North is not just a change of venue but a deliberate effort to bring the pageant experience closer to the people as part of the Brand Namibia Tourism Initiative.

“This is the first time the final phase of the competition is being staged in the northern region. It’s our way of celebrating with the people while showcasing Namibia to the world,” said Buella.

READY: Miss Namibia  Teen finalists.

The event will spotlight vibrant young talent:
Miss Teen Namibia Grand Finale — 18 July 2025 (ages 15–19)
Miss Namibia 2025 Grand Finale — 19 July 2025 (ages 19–28)

On what to expect, the organisers said to expect dazzling performances, cultural displays, and a celebration of Namibia’s finest.

“This is a movement for change, unity, and empowerment — it’s beyond a beauty pageant,” said Umbi Karuaihe-Upi, CEO of Miss Namibia. She also applauded the support from the Namibian government, traditional leaders like the King and Queen of Ondonga, and a host of sponsors who have rallied behind the cause.

Winners will walk away with life-changing prizes including cash, a car, a house, and much more!

The top three in both categories will receive fully sponsored university scholarships for three years, a bold investment in youth and education.
