Speaking on Monday at the campus Bushiri vowed to proceed with giving a hand to those that are struggling to raise tuition fees under the project of helping students which exists under the Bushiri Foundation.

“Upon receiving a phone call on Friday I had to make a quick response towards the request of 65 students that could not manage to pay examination fees,” Bushiri said.

He further said he believes in helping those in need and asked all citizens in the country to support each other.

The Vice Chancellor of LUANAR, Professor Emmanuel Kaunda, agreed that a  lot of students are facing challenges including food challenges and commended the coming in of support amounting to K30 million saying it’s a relief.

According to the President of the Students Union, Mayamiko Kachepa,  over 450 students at Bunda campus are in dire need of support.
