Veep urges Malawians in Tanzania to invest back home

Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima has urged Malawians living in Tanzania to contribute to Malawi’s socio-economic development through investment.

Dr Chilima met with Malawians living in that country following a request from their umbrella body called Community of Malawians Living in Tanzania (COMATA).

The members had concerns which needed high-level attention such as difficulties in remittance of funds, land acquisition, among others.

The Vice President has since assured them of prompt redress on the issues.
