National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) Limited has reiterated that their loans are not political gifts and must be repaid.
Chief Executive Officer for NEEF, Humphreys Mdyetseni, made the remarks in Blantyre during an interface meeting with councillors and community development committees.
During the meeting, it was revealed that beneficiaries in Blantyre are yet to repay close to K1 billion in loans obtained from NEEF.
Chairperson for South Lunzu Community Development Committee, Robert Makondetsa has implored residents in the city to repay their loans to allow more people to benefit from NEEF’s financial support.
