Child Parliamentarians from across the country have converged in Salima for a weeklong series of activities to consolidate resolutions aimed at promoting their welfare.
The meetings are part of the activities marking commemorations of the Day of the African Child slated for this coming Friday, 26 July under the theme “Promoting quality and inclusive education for all children in Malawi, act now” where the Minister of Gender, Jean Sendeza, will preside.
A consortium of stakeholders, including Save the Children and NGO Coalition on Child Rights, are supporting this year’s activities which will be held in Salima.
