All is set for the official opening of Kalipano Hotel by Sunbird in Senior Chief Kayembe in Dowa District.
Kalipano Hotel by Sunbird was constructed by Mtalimanja Holdings Limited owned by entrepreneur Napoleon Dzombe and is being managed by Sunbird Tourism.
The hotel is a 54-roomed facility with three meeting rooms, a bar, indoor restaurant, and offers a wide range of leisure facilities and activities that include; the magnificent Kalipano dam for experiential fishing.
It also accommodates an outdoor swimming pool, two event gardens and a planned floating restaurant.
President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will officially open the facility this morning and thereafter hold a developmental rally at Simbi Primary School Ground in the area of Senior Chief Chakhadza in the district.
