Malawi Fertilizer Company (MFC) has organised a sensitization workshop on fertilizer and soils for mega farmers to appreciate the fertilizer formula that can be produced in Malawi.
The event, which is taking place at Liwonde Fertilizer Terminal Factory in Machinga, features a hundred farmers from diffent parts of the country and Ministry of Agriculture officials.
Malawi Fertilizer Company Managing Director, Christopher Keen, said the factory has the capacity to blend any fertilizers to suit different soils in Malawi and increase crop production.
The two-day event focuses on fostering interactions between mega farmers and industry experts as well as offering valuable insights into sustainable farming techniques.
