Ntcheu Children Parliament Speaker calls for school feeding programme

Speaker of the Ntcheu Children Parliament, Favour Chindimba, has urged the government to consider implementing the school feeding programme in all schools across her district to ensure that every child benefits.

Chindimba added that the feeding programme has helped to increase enrolment of pupils in selected schools where the programme is supported.

Currently, the government and the World Food Programme (WFP) are implementing the School Feeding Programme, which targets 600,000 children across seven districts: Chikwawa, Dedza, Mangochi, Phalombe, Nsanje, Salima, and Zomba.
