Malawi National Football Team, the Flames, will soon know their opponents in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers as the draw is set for tomorrow in South Africa.
The Flames have been placed in Pot 3 of the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers, meaning they will not face teams like Kenya, Mauritania, Tanzania, Congo, Guinea Bissau, Libya, Comoros, Togo, Sudan, Sierra Leone, and
the Central African Republic.
The Flames have made three appearances at the AFCON finals, with their last participation in 2022.
A total of 48 teams will compete for 24 spots in the 2025 AFCON, which will be hosted by Morocco.
