GIZ challenges youths to venture in agricultural value-added chain sector

German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) says Malawian youths should embrace agricultural value chain if they are to help the country export products that can compete on the global market.

Technical Advisor for GIZ Malawi, Albert Banda, made the remarks in Lilongwe during a SOS Children’s Villages Vocational Training Centre graduation.

Principal for SOS Vocational Training Centre, Margaret Mphwiyo, urged the graduands to use the skills they have been equipped with so as to effectively contribute to the economic growth of the country.

A total of 166 students have graduated from young women technical skills empowerment project and GIZ Eya Agricultural Technical Vocational and Training Project.
