SDA’s South Malawi Conference launches ministry in higher learning institutions

The South Malawi Conference of the Seventh -Day Adventist (SDA) Church has launched Public Campus Ministries (PCM) as a way of enhancing evangelism in higher learning institutions.

The event took place at the University of Malawi in Zomba.

Keynote speaker at the launch, Pastor Sanned Lubani said PCM focuses mainly on encouraging students who are on campus to be attached to a local Church while at the same time empowering the community with its needs.

Pastor Lubani went on to challenge the youth from UNIMÀ, MUBAS , MUST, BIU, CUNIMA and other colleges that gathered at the event to be generational conscious.

”PCM has come to bridge the gap between the senior members of the church and the youth. They should work together as recruiters and retainers of the new and old members. Let the generational differences be an opportunity and strength to build a resilient church,” said Pastor Lubani.

The PCM is a brainchild of the youth department in the SDA Church.
