A two-day faith-based outreach led by Apostle Hulda of Fountain of Hope Ministries attracted strong support at Chiuzila Primary School Ground in Lilongwe, where residents gathered for a crusade aimed at spreading hope in Christ.
The apostle, who is based in the United States of America, led the evangelism activities over the past weekend, which combined sharing the gospel with community support and youth engagement.
The event was spiced up by gospel performances from Shammah Vocals and Great Angels Choir, alongside other supporting artists, creating a lively atmosphere that drew people from surrounding areas.
“We have come to bring hope in Christ to the hopeless, to encourage those who feel lost, and to remind everyone that through Jesus, there is a new beginning,” said Apostle Hulda.
One of the crusade’s organisers, William Zonda, said the evangelism aimed to reach those who felt forgotten and encourage them to embrace faith. He noted that the response from the community was overwhelming, with traditional leaders and pastors in attendance.
The programme also included relief food distribution, a football and netball talent identification bonanza.
“Sometimes it is not enough to preach. We must also show love through what we do and what we give,” Zonda said.
Organisers said they hoped the initiative would leave a lasting impact as more souls turn to Christ.
