Mudzi Connect uplifts lives in Dowa

People in Dowa District under Senior Chief Msakambewa have hailed Mudzi Connect for helping the district with several developmental projects, including the construction of an under-five clinic at Chinkanda village.

The organisation has also built a teachers’ block at Nankhanga Primary School, a teachers’ house at Nakondwa Primary School, and community-based childcare centers in Mwelero and Chiundira villages.

Speaking during the handover ceremony of the project, Senior Chief Msakambewa applauded National Bank and Village Connect for constructing the clinic, saying people were traveling long distances to have their children treated at Msakambewa Health Centre.

Mudzi Connect Executive Director, Frank Kasonga said his organisation is committed to improve the lives of people in villages.

He then thanked all the villagers for contributing 25% to the K17 Million that has been used to construct the clinic.

National Bank’s Head of Treasury, Harry Mkaka, expressed joy in contributing to the well-being of the community and pledged continued support for similar development projects across the country.
