Delegates have started arriving in the city of Seoul, the Republic of Korea for the first ever Korea-Africa Summit scheduled for the 4th and 5th of June.
Apart from deepening diplomatic relations with African countries including Malawi, the two-day summit will provide a platform for further discussion on how to trade and business partnerships with the technologically and economically advanced country.
Vice President Dr Saulosi Chilima who has been delegated by President Dr Lazarus Chakwera will lead the Malawian entourage for this high level summit, which has attracted more than 54 countries.
Malawi’s deputy Ambassador to Japan Joseph Chikwemba says Malawi is geared for the summit.
