Right to Care Malawi, a not-for-profit organisation, has urged all players in the country’s health sector to work together in order to promote good health among the citizenry.

Executive Director for Right to Care, Eula Mothibi, made the call in Mzuzu when handing over medical consignment to health facilities in the North and pledged the organisation’s support to the Ministry of Health in sustaining HIV epidemic control through high-quality prevention, treatment and care services.

Director of Health and Social Services for Mzimba North, Naomi Mulwafu, commended Right to Care for the support across hospitals, acknowledging its impact on people’s well being.

Charles Nyasulu, Clinical Superintendent for St. John’s Hospital in Mzuzu and representative of hospitals receiving support from Right to Care, described the donation as timely and beneficial.

The medical consignment included Oxygen Concentrators, cleaning materials, and Cervical Cancer Screening supplies.

With financial support from PEPFAR, the project was initiated in 2023 and it is expected to end in 2028.
