Director for The Remnant Lions Theatre, Tiwonge Chisiza says all is set to for the premier of the film “Belinda” at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe tonight.
The film conceptualized by the late Thlupego Du Chisiza Jr, addresses social issues, focusing on the importance of education for girls.
“We have tackled issues of Gender Based Violence, mob justice and a general encouragement of people to work hard to support themselves and their families,” said Chisiza.
Following its premiere, “Belinda” will be screened in various communities and schools to promote education, particularly among girls.
