Lewa joins Dedza on loan

Ekhaya have loaned out their 2025 mid-season signing, Lewa Nkosi, to Goshen City Dedza Dynamos after he featured in only a few matches due to an ankle injury sustained soon after joining the club.

Nkosi signed a three-year deal with Ekhaya after impressing at his former club, Songwe Border United, notably with his dribbling display against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on 20 April 2025.

In a statement published on their website, Ekhaya said the loan move is intended to help Nkosi regain momentum and secure regular playing time.

“We are confident he will benefit greatly from the experience and make a strong contribution at Goshen City Dedza Dynamos. Everyone at Ekhaya FC wishes Lewa the very best in the upcoming season and looks forward to seeing his progress,” reads part of the statement.

Nkosi scored his debut goal for Ekhaya on 4 January 2026, converting a penalty against Shire Wimbe FC in the 2025/26 Castel Challenge Cup.

The match ended 2-2 before Ekhaya triumphed 4-2 in the penalty shootout.

The forward previously played for Roccana FC before joining Bright Stars Mzuzu in 2021.

He later featured for Kadona Stars between 2022 and 2023, before moving to Ekwendeni United.

In this year’s transfer market, Ekhaya have signed striker James Stambuli from Blue Eagles and goalkeeper Clever Nkungula from Bullets.
