The Public Accounts Committee of Parliament failed to meet in Lilongwe as members failed to agree on the leadership of the committee.
Chairperson of the committee Shadrick Namalomba called for the meeting to discuss a number of inquiries including the alleged missing of K30 billion fertilizer funds.
However, dramatically, only 13 members including Namalomba himself showed up out of 21 with no other members from the opposition Democratic Progressive Party.
Also missing was Mark Botomani who was elected Chair of the Committee months ago.
Parliament secretariat has since told the committee that it cannot hold any meetings as the Speaker suspended all PAC meetings until the committee’s leadership court issues are resolved
