BUSHIRI REACHES OUT TO FOOD INSECURE FAMILIES IN LL RURAL

The Leader of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG), Shepherd Bushiri, has reached out to 1200 households with maize in the Area of Traditional Authority Mazengera in Nathenje, Lilongwe.

Bushiri said he felt duty-bound to help fellow Malawians who are food insecure.

He then urged people of goodwill to support the government in reaching out to people who have been affected by hunger rather than politicising the issue.

“This should be the spirit of all Malawians, let us not politicize hunger when we are supposed to help,” said Bushiri.

Member of Parliament for Lilongwe Mpenu, Eisenhower Mkaka, hailed Bushiri for the donation, saying it will help families that have been affected by hunger in his area.
