Parliament has been suspended for 15 minutes to allow the House resolve the issue of DPP MPs who are outside Parliament.
Leader of the House, Richard Chimwendo Banda, asked the Speaker to temporarily suspend proceedings in order to find direction on how to handle the issue.
DPP MPs who were suspended from Parliament by the Speaker for disobeying orders are still outside the august House.
The DPP members have said they will not leave the premises until the speaker, Catherine Gotani Hara addresses them.
