All set for UDF Convention

United Democratic Front (UDF) says it is set for its elective convention slated for 2 October at COMESA Hall in Blantyre where over 1,000 delegates are slated to elect new leaders.

The Party’s Convention Chairperson, Aisha Mambo, confirmed this at a Press Briefing in Blantyre where she said the convention is pegged at K140 million, which is a contribution from party members and its partners.

Young people and women are expected to pay 50 percent of the nomination fees as a deliberate way to give room for young people and women to compete at the convention.
