Chewa Heritage Foundation (CHEFO) says preparations for the 2024 Kulamba Ceremony have been completed.
General Secretary for CHEFO, Numeri Geresomo, made the remarks in Lilongwe on Tuesday during a press briefing ahead of this year’s ceremony which will take place this coming Saturday at Mkaika in Katete district of Zambia.
Geresomo also urged those who are planning to attend the ceremony to get introduction letters from CHEFO Offices for easy crossing at the Mwami Border in Zambia.
He said their foundation made a budget of K35 million in order to attend this ceremony but they have only managed to secure K24 million and then appealed for more assistance from well-wishers in order to meet the remaining budget.
