First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera is at Jalira in Rumphi District for the official opening of Jalira Girls Secondary School, which has been constructed as a gift from South Korea.
The First Lady will also lay a foundation stone for a Women’s College at the same place in the area of Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe in the district.
On arrival, Madam Chakwera was welcomed by Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima and other officials, including traditional leaders.
