Police in Nsanje have arrested Emmaculate Nyantawa for possessing cannabis without a permit.
Deputy Public Relations Officer for Nsanje Police, Declare Mbukwa, said Police received information that the suspect was keeping the said illicit drug in her house at Bangula Trading Centre.
Police seized a half bag of cannabis from Nyantawa’s house.
The suspect remains in custody and will appear in court soon to answer charges related to being found in possession of cannabis without a permit.
